  • Fed Arden Grange puppy food, bag supplied

  • Well on the way to being toilet trained

  • Socialised with other dogs, introduced to cats, horses, humans!

  • Lovely rhythm set throughout the day for you to continue upon collection

  • Loads of guidance notes provided

Reserving a puppy with a deposit.

  • If you and your family are ready to reserve a puppy I will require a £300 deposit, I will also arrange for you to visit us when the puppies get to 5-6 weeks old . If you are not happy with something when you visit, this could be the set up, the puppies or indeed myself, your deposit is fully refundable at that stage. I only want puppies to go to families who are happy with everything here and not feel committed to a puppy they perhaps don’t warm to. Your deposit is NOT refundable prior to the visit date, so please only commit to reserving your puppy when you are absolutely 100% confident that timing etc is right for you and all family members are on board.

  • I appreciate sending money to a place/person that you haven’t yet been to/met doesn’t seem like the most sensible thing to do but if I don’t ask for a deposit I get ‘everyone and no-one’ joining in.

  • Deposits are also fully refundable if during the health checks something is noted with your puppy and you decide not to go ahead with that particular puppy, rarely has this happened but always need that option available I think.

  • I can’t reserve a puppy without a deposit but you can still arrange to visit at the 5 week puppy stage in the hope that there will be a puppy of your choice still available. If there is I would then need a deposit to reserve at some point soon after your visit. If all puppies are reserved before you are due to visit I would obviously let you know.

  • I reserve puppies mainly based on your preferences, so a red girl, a chocolate boy etc, if when you visit you fall for a completely different puppy who is still available that is absolutely fine with me. I also try to book your visits in order of reservations, so first to reserve a ‘red boy’ should really have first pick of the ‘red boys’ and so on.

  • Most families want to visit to meet the puppies, parents etc, and its a great opportunity for a catch up, exchange of stories, however sometimes visits aren’t possible for varied reasons, thats ok I’m happy to keep you up to date via email, however the deposit isn’t refundable for you until the health check stage.

  • Deposits/balance preferred bank transfers. invoices will be sent.

Collecting

  • You should at this stage be aware of the collection date. I allow puppies to leave from eight weeks old, having been given the all clear by my own vets. Eight weeks is the ideal time to collect your puppy, however this doesn’t always suit or fit in so I will happily keep your puppy until the end of nine weeks at no extra charge, although payment gratefully received on or soon after the official collection date, I will send out an invoice.

  • If for any reason you cannot collect in that timescale and would like me to keep a little while longer I can do but there will be a charge of £15 per day. The balance along with the daily charge will be required in advance, which would be the official collection date, again I will invoice you. I can only keep two puppies max from each litter at any one time for the extended period so speak up early!

  • The extra daily charge is mainly to encourage families to plan their diaries around the eight week collection date and prioritise their puppy and put the party/weekend breaks off etc, you don’t get access to a puppy very often in your life so to miss out on some early weeks is such a shame, we put in a massive effort when they are still here with us so there are no long lasting effects, but if you delay collection for too long maybe you should consider looking at waiting for a future litter that fits in better with your plans.

Issues

  • After collecting if you have any issues let me know, I can usually help!

  • If you can no longer give your puppy/dog the home they deserve at anytime during their entire life we do ask that you return them to us.

  • If a puppy is returned within the first 4 weeks of you collecting I will do my best to refund the money paid once a new home is found minus the original deposit.
